Paula's Story
Life
Well here I am,
I graduated from High School 1983, a shy little girl. I went right into the Military (NAVY) No it is not true that everyone who joins the Navy is GAY (smile). This is what most of my friends told me. All kidding aside, I did very well with my life. In the Navy I traveled all over the world ( Japan, Greece, Italy, Spain, Singapore, Africa, France, Puerto Rico and various spots stateside). Needless to say I am no longer shy. I retired from 20 yrs in the Navy and I would not change a thing if I had to do it all over again.
Just as we all have, I have had my rough times but God was there to carry me the whole way. I am very thankful and blessed for all that has taken place in my life. I spent the most time in Florida, Jacksonville. I bought my home there the second time I was stationed there with the military.
I married Sept 9, 2000. Yea, two days before Sept 11, 2000. I should have taken that as a sign.
Got rid of him Feb 2001 while stationed in Puerto Rico.

y smart and very busy. Moma passes out before him on many a nights. At times he will come in and actually kiss me on my forehand and say, "it's ok moma, I'm going night night now. He is no stranger to church and says the lords prayer at night before bed.
I was part of Management at one of the Largest Hospitals in Florida, Shands. I got all my weekends and holidays off to spend with my little man.
Oct of 2007 I decided to return to Leesville, La. God blessed me by offering me a poition, granting my desire to be close to my Family. I accpted a position at Bayne-Jones Amry Hospital at Fort Polk. Best decision I have made in Years. So, we sold the home packed everything up in a a very large UHAUL truck, towed my car with the UHAUL and here we are, right back where I started, home.
My son and I are here to stay.
I remember I once said I would never return to this place. All I can say is, "Never say never."
Those who knew me well in highschool know I was VERY VERY Shy. I didn't speak to a lot of people. So please forgive me if I don't remember you.
Thanks for reading my bio and may God bless each and every one of you and your family.
