Paula's Story
Been married almost 22 years, moved across the country 21 years ago, had 3 great kids that are all in college now (19, 20 & 22). Went back to school myself part to full time while working full-time in fall of '06 for web designing. Finished that in '09 and decided to move on forward with an Associates degree for Networking/Programming that I should finish probably within the next year.
The last couple months I have been back home to Kansas to help care for family, had marriage issues, and been laid-off from current job.
A good friend nearly died and was in hospital from a botched surgery that lead to staph infection for over 3 months.
Its been a crazy year so far! I am not real excited to see what next year brings. It just better bring less stress! LOL!

would hear from my parents the statement "Just wait until you have kids, they are going to be just like you or I hope they give you just as much trouble as you have been." Good grief! I must confess, I believe that is a parents curse they place on you as soon as they say it and it must double or tripple in power. LOL!
I blow off steam and relax by going for a walk or watch movies when I have time.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Lisa Poorman May, I lost touch with her and she was one of my dearest friends since 9th grade and was my maid of honor at my wedding. I miss her as a friend.
My true obsessions of heart is probably that I am honestly a country girl at heart even though I am a city girl that is a technical geek. LOL! I love being outside seeing the beauty and wonders of the nature. I love animals of most all kinds even some slimy types (guys not included). Give me a horse, some forest and I am in heaven!
