Paula's Story
I am currently living in Chesapeake Virginia about 30 minutes from the outer banks in North Carolina. We have been here for almost 4 years now. We two children, both are grown and out of the house. Our son is handicapped (Autisic) but gets along well in life. Our daughter Amy is 25 and runng a small restaurant about five minutes from her apartment in the Ghent section of downtown Norfolk. She also finishing her B.A. in Psychology. My husband Ralph is in Navy Reserve and also a Civilian Employee for federal government. I work at part of the Personnel Support Detachment for the Navy. . We are constantly busy.
We have been slowly remodeling our house and updating the rooms. They were circa 1970. Not what we want in the house. We have also done some traveling to areas abroad and in the states. We took a great trip to Italy for about 14 days. Even drove up through the Alps and spent one night in Strausbourg France. Saw the Cathredral there. It was amazing. We went to Charleston South Carolina on a three day trip and had a blast. Found a great cup of Cappicino in a shop in the Market square in downtown Charleston.
Other travel is down the outer banks on day trips here and there.
