Peggy's Story
Life
I now live in West Frankfort, IL and have a somewhat low-key but very fulfilling life: am presently in a relationship and have 3 grown children---Jason (age 40), Melissa (age 36), and Erin (age 32); . I have a very fulfilling relationship with Ed, my best friend and soul mate. I enjoy going to concerts, theme parks, camping, swimming, traveling. My favorite bands are Better Than Ezra, The Waiting Game, the BoDeans, The Gufs....and some 80's bands such as Poison, Def Leppard, Cinderella. My favorite recording artists of all time are Elvis Presley & Prince. Still love a good book or series of books: my favorites are The Vampire Chronicles set of books (Anne Rice), The Stand (Stephen King), and the Dune series of books (both the original books by Frank Herbert and the newer series by son Brian Herbert). Favorite shows include Smallville, Supernatural, Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters, Inkmaster, The Walking Dead, and all kinds of fact based crime series such as Cold Case Files & American Justice.

I have six grandsons--Anthony, Johnathon, Ethan, Trent, Vinnie, and Avery and five granddaughters---Chase, Carmen, Kelsie, Delyla, & Hope. Being a grandma is a very important role to me, and teaching my grandchildren is just as important--I love being Grandma!
I am very passionate in regards to my political beliefs and certain causes. The causes I am dearly passionate about range from Marijuana legalization/Medical Marijuana access, homeless people, people with disabilities, people who suffer from Chronic pain, to tax relief. I am not extremely active in a political sense, however, I do vote when elections come up---just so my voice is heard in some way. If you're on my FB friends list....you've probably seen my political rants, my beliefs, and almost every facet of my life. I am an Independent voter---I will vote for the best man in an election---which could be either party. Yes, I normally lean democrat---but, there are decent Republicans as well that do try to represent their constituents as well as possible.
