Margaret's Story
I married my husband Joel in June of 1969, as my husband was about to go into the US Navy. We lived in a variety of places due to either the Navy or IBM, including Gaithersburg MD, Albuquerque NM, Newport, RI, Falls Church VA, Virginia Beach, VA, Middleton RI, Poughkeepsie NY (the longest time at 21 years), Raleigh NC (next longest at 13 years), and Campbell CA. In September, 2008, we moved to Fredericksburg, VA.

graduating from high school, I have had many jobs, from medical laboratory technician to insurance agent to activity director in a retirement home. Then about 8 years ago, I started to do what I had dreamed of from young childhood -- I began to paint fine art professionally. I'm a poster child for "it's never too late" to live out your dreams.
My husband Joel and I have 5 sons, and four granddaughters and 2 grandsons.
