Peggy's Story
Life
I traveled for a year directly after graduation with a performing group. We spent 6 months in the US and 6 months in Western Europe. I attended business college when I returned and was married as soon as I graduated from college. We had a son, Nathan, and then got divorced. I have worked in the administrative assistant / supervisor position primarily in the oil and gas industry for 20 years. I live on an acreage in the Okotoks area with my spouse and son. We built a new home in 2002 on 10.5 acres. Loving it!!
College

Henderson's for the administration/secretarial course and can remember being upset that we had to wear pantyhose in the summer heat. It was a good course and gave me life and work skills that I have used for the past 20 years. I have never been out of work and attribute that mostly to the experience I gained at Henderson's and graduating with honors. Henderson's placed me in my first post grad job and I worked there until I had my son. I have had many different jobs over the years but have been with the same employer for the past 10 years.
