Peggy's Story
Life
I got married in 1988. We have two children, a girl, born in 1990 and a boy, born in 1992. I was a stay at home mom until my son went into kindergarten and now I work at J C Penney while they're in school. We live in Winchester, Virginia. It's in the Blue Ridge Mountains and very near the Shenandoah River. Remember the John Denver song 'Take me home country roads' Well, that's were I am. Washington D.C. It's a small town that reminds me alot of Watsonville. They grow a lot of apples here like Watsonville use to do.
Well, things have changed since I wrote that. My husband passed away suddenly and unexpectantly in March 2004. My church has really help me and my kids during this difficult time. Being single when your over 50 isn't as fun as when I was in my 20's. And having to date again, yikes! Life is so much more complicated. Anyways, life is getting better. Time and God heals all wounds.
