My Kids
Jonathan Esten (From 1st marriage to David Esten in 1968) was born in 1978, graduated from Davidson College, majored in physics and chemistry, got a master's degree, graduated law school at Washington and Lee University Cum Laude and is now the public defender for Fairfax County, Virginia. He married Lynda in 2008. She has graduated from medical school and is doing her residency in surgery. Serve USA, and is now a full time Mom to my 2 yr. old granddaughter Beth. Joanna, my stepdaughter, is a nurse (BSN) and has given me two step-grandchildren, Meagan and Ryan.
Since Easthampton, I have lived all over Mass. and in New Jersey, Texas, the Marshal Islands (Kwajalein from 1984 - 1989). Moved to NC from there in 1989, divorced David Esten, married Johnnie Hood in 1992 and retired to Florida in 2002.
Johnnie and I now both drive school buses for Pasco County Public Schools (I drive special needs students) which we plan to go on doing at least until we are old enough to be on Medicare. It's a great way to get insurance year round while only working 180 days!
