Life Only one biography? But I've had so many lives! In short: I am a thoroughly serious dilettante, married for sixteen years to a charming Frenchman six years younger than I, whom I met in a train station and married two years later in the Anglican church in Geneva. We live in a crumbling manor house on a mountainside in Savoie, one hour from Switzerland and two hours from Italy. Contrary to our hopes, we've not had children, though I've often been called to work with other people's children--teaching art or teaching English through playful activities like drawing, singing and dancing, simple games; telling stories in the American library in Geneva (where I've learned a lot from the people who do it in the French-speaking libraries, completely from memory). Most recently, I've done a picture book for which I'm trying to find a publisher; I have a different idea for which I'd like to create a multimedia website.
