Penelope's Story
My name is Penelope Nicholas. Born Penelope Savaris. I am the daughter of Greek Immigrants and educated in the Lowell Schools. Among them is the Hellenic American School, which I graduated from and am very proud of.I speak two languages, Greek and English. I am the author of several books on Amazon.com. I also write poetry and am the recipient of The Editor's Choice Award by the International Library of Poetry. I am the daughter of Antonios and Joanna Savaris who came to America to seek a better life. I have written their story which is now on Kindle as a e-book but can be downloaded on any PC. ng and resilient and always had that sense of humor that kept them going. After all, they were a part of the greates generation. I am told that this story is a page turner and every Immigrant on this planet can relate to it.
Right now I have several projects I am workking on. I love the writing and it is my first love. I can put in some serious hours and not be concerned about time or day. I have painted a few pieces of art and my children display them in their homes but, my writing is, again, my first love.
I always wanted to be a Author of children's stories and great stories of everyday life. when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a Great idea. As it turns out, they were Right.
