Pennie's Story
Life
Talk about late bloomers, that's me! After C.H.S. I stayed in Portland, went to trade school, got married. Neither worked out well in the end. After bumbling through life I'm back on track. I enjoy ballroom dancing, sailing, triathlons, reading and going to the movies. I like spending time with my nieces and nephews one of whom started college the same time as me. Crazy world we live in!
20 years after graduating High School, I graduated (with honors) with a B.S. in Psychology and I haven't stopped there. I'm only a few years away from being a doctor.I'm actively working in a PsyD. program, that's a Doctor of Psychology and will graduate from that in about 2012, I'll be 43 years old. It's a lot of hard work, but it is a wonderful experience, simply incredible.
In 2006, I spent 4 months in Cuernavaca Mexico, my second home, and am now conversational in Spanish. The program completed my Spanish minor in Undergrad.
I have recently remarried. We got married in August of 2006. I'm living in the Portland area with my wonderful husband and a sweet little kitty cat.

e couldn't have children and that was turning out to be alright with us. We both wanted a child or two, but were happy to adopt or something after I graduate. However, God had another plan. I'm due in April '09! I'll let you know how things progress.
MAY '09 UPDATE: My babies were born March 29. Abigail and Ian. They are wonderful children, but wearing me out!
High School
I was one of the confused kids in High School. I didn't know who I was or what I wanted to do. However, once I started straightening out my act I really enjoyed being on Aerie. Mr. Bremer inspired a lot of confidence in myself as a writer and I write a lot today for church newsletters and the occasional book review. It really helps with college papers too! Do it again? If I could, I'd have more confidence in myself knowing that I can do anything I put my mind to. I'd be friendlier and more active.
I don't think I dated anyone from C.H.S. Most of my boyfriends were older or from other schools. I think that worked mostly to my advantage. I didn't have any nasty break-ups staring me in the face every day. I most fondly remember (Lisa you will love this!) Tony and maybe Brian.
