Pennie's Story

Life Married 34 (1983) years to Michael, we have three children...two sons, Clark 37 and Joseph 33, and a daughter Sarah 30. Along with 3 beautiful grand children, with another one on the way. For those of you who attended my first wedding and knew my first husband, he, I am sad to report, passed away...we were married over 8-1/2 years. While going to High School (and after), I owned and operated a home for the aged with my mother, Nesbit's Garden Valley Home. I also went to nursing school where I received my ParaMedic License. I worked several jobs, including the E.R. at Queen of the Valley Hospital and at Napa and Sonoma State Hospital. And after some prodding by friend and classmate, Jack Kyle, shortly after graduating I went into law enforcement. And wouldn't you know it, I married a cop (both marriages). I worked over 15 years as an officer before deciding that one police officer in the family was enough, so I put away the badge. Not one to stay idle...after leaving law enforcement, I ran my own licensed day care, worked for over twelve years as a Crisis Line Counselor, went to school to get my manicuring license and worked as a pharmacy tech. Mr.(Bart)Anderson I have been following your advice of "looking inward to my roots (Native American - Creek, Cherokee and Comanche) and saying it loud and being proud". Through my life long journey I found my oldest brother...My birth parents and six of my eight siblings. Along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. I had not seen my brother for over 26 years and a bit lo...Expand for more
nger for the others. Currently I am "retired" and have been working on a biography. I have been asked by many professional people over the years, all around the world, to write my story. Well guys, I'm finally getting it done, however slowly. Also on the back burner are a couple of westerns that my husband and I are working on together. Here's another surprise for you...I've finally accepted and embraced the gifts God gave me. Yes, since the age of 6, I've known I was psychic. After conferring with my elders it was explained to me that I am a Fifth Generation Sage(Shaman)/Medicine Woman. My Great-G-G-G-G Grand father was the Great Comanche Chief Quanah Parker. And over the years, working under my Native American given name, I have become internationally known. It's been so rewarding sharing and using my gifts to help others. Especially working with law enforcement, helping to solve crimes. Many people have asked about our "mini zoo"...Yes we love animals and have had well over fifty at any given time. For over twenty years I have done animal rescue, which is where most of our animals have come from. So if you are ever in need of finding a home for an injured or unwanted animal, call or send me an email. If we are unable to take the animal, we'll help you find someone who can. All in all, even with it's many ups and downs, life has been great. I look forward to living life to it's fullest, everyday. And thank God, my creator and mother earth every day for all I have been given. Blessings to All... [UPDATED 12/19/2017]
