Penny's Story
Life
I am still going strong at the age of 60 something. I have been married twice. I met my first husband at Northern Secondary. We met in grade nine and married four years later. His name was Gordon James Sherman. We had a daughter together in 1964. In 1965 we seperated and divorced in 1969. Gordon James Sherman passed away January 27, 2001. Our daughter Kathleen Louise is married to Norman Koehler. They have two children, Amber Lea who is now 21 yrs old and Erik Andrew who is now 19 years old. phen Andrew Bartok in 1970 and we were married December 4th, 1971. We have two girls Jacqueline Lea Anne and Jennfier Lindsay. Our daughter Jacqueline is married to Galen Midwinter. They have given us our third grandchild. His name is Braeden and he just celebrated his 1st birthday. How lucky we all are. Steve and I will be celebrating our 38th anniversary this December. Steve and I are also retired and having a great time. My three daughters and myself all attended Northern Secondary. Also my neice Sarah and my nephew Ivon.
