Penny's Story

I first came to Arlington in 1952 when my Dad was assigned to Ft.Myer. I attended the 3rd grade in D.C while we lived at Ft.Myer. I attended 4th grade in South Arlington (don't remember the school name). We lived on Fern St. We moved to the area of Pershing Dr and Washington Blvd (Lyon Park neighborhood) and I attended Henry Clay 5th & 6th grades...Expand for more
, have some wonderful memories of those years ! I attended Thomas Jefferson Jr. High for the 7th & 8th grades. We moved away in 1957, I have been back many times with my sister Carol and we always go to Clarendon and all of the areas we remember. I never forgot the years of growing up there and have always wanted to return to live there.......
