Penny's Story

Life Hi, In 2001 Lee and I retired to Paso Robles, CA and have enjoyed all the area has to offer -- great people, small town friendliness, beautiful scenery, 1000s of acres of vineyards, and being able to be in Pismo Beach or Cambria in about 40 minutes. Paso Robles reminds me of Concord when we were kids -- festivals, parades, and even a Carneggie library in our downtown park. Our oldest son, Brian, and grandson, Jacob, live in the area. t and Eryn, are happy there. Lee passed away in February 2018. He had pancreatic cancer and survived only three months after diagnosis. I miss him terribly but am learning a new normal for myself. I am blessed to have Brian and Jacob close by. If you're in the area, let me know and I will show u around my little corner of the world. Paso Robles is considered a vacation destination now and there’s a lot to enjoy including countless wineries, concerts, good food, and other treats. Go Devils!!!!

This is what remains of my mom's and brother Bruce's home in Phoenix, Oregon. Fire ravage through the town last night destroying more than 80% of the community. I’m so grateful that my mom is not alive to see this and that
The burning home was next door to my mom's in Phoenix, Oregon. Mom's home is right in front of it and the next to be destroyed.
