Who thought we would still be around? Just never lived that far into the future. Even after living day by day, the years mount up. Slowly, the years (and gravity) take their toll. Youth seemed like a forever thing, and I tried to keep up doing what I did as a young man. Trying to make a decent living was an everyday goal, but still living paycheck to paycheck. Thinking about it now, it wasn't really bad back then, we spent what we made on fun things. I don't regret it. Week ends were great and we really enjoyed them. Now, they are just days like...Expand for more
the others. I don't like being old and I don't want to live to be 100. But then, that never appealed to me anyway. I hope all my school friends are doing well and are in good health. It's never too late to have fun.
Posted about 15 years ago, still true: The most important thing in my life is my relationship with the Lord. He lived and died for all of us, and He has been my cornerstone. I wish I had been a better servant to Him. God's love has been constant. Jesus still saves.
