Perry's Story
Life has been an amazing adventure. I'm single, a Christian, a writer, a traveller, and I live in Langley. The journey continues...
After Centennial, I completed two years at BCIT (E&E/Instrumentation). In October 1979 I gained employment at MCC Powers (which later became Siemens), where I worked for over 8 years. After a year off and doing come consulting I was employed at Delta Controls in 1989, and have remained there ever since (in various roles).
In many ways, life began for me when I became a Christian over Christmas in grade 12. nomination, label, or banner. I am first and foremost a servant and disciple of Jesus Christ, and my desire is to follow Him wherever He leads and grow to be more like Him.
I live in my own home in Langley (where I raise rubber chickens in my backyard). I am rich, not in terms of money, but in terms of long-term quality friends, family, and the blessings of God. Indeed, God has been good, even in spite of the adversities I've faced (which we all do). I would never have guessed God would lead me to where I find myself now. I love creativity and I have a bit of a dry and wacky sense of humour.
I have traveled to many places around the globe, so it was awesome to be able to visit Israel in May 2006 (unforgettable!), just before the conflicts that occured over the following summer. I have also been learning Tai Chi, Golf, and many other things. I even ride a motorcyle now, and when I can I like to ride my pogo stick on the moon. ;-)
