Perry's Story
I guess my first crush would be Terry Kohler. Such a great person. I met her in the summer of 1974 and I liked her a lot. We used to sit on her porch and she would tell about her (deceased) father and how she missed him. We spoke of many other things in our youthful lives and I grew to care a lot about her. She was quite pretty and when I went into the USN in 1977, I missed her everyday. I could not wait for her letters. Once I even went AWOL just to be with her. toned too often and she (rightly) did not like me that way. I can not blame her for that. I have been sober since 1988. I did not see her from 1981 until 2005. That November day she came to my place of employment and, shamefully, I did not immediately recognize her. I was amazed. Still so beautiful! She hugged me and left me bereft. How I wish I could see her again. I have no address or e-mail or phone #. If anyone knows her tell her I miss her.
I still love my Wrangler jeans!! But I have not worn flannel shirts in thirty years.
