Perry's Story

Life HI Everyone, I'm single again and the kids are off on their own and I'm getting ready to start a brand new life and a brand new career. I've been upgrading my education the last few years and I'm now getting close to earning my doctorate in clinical psychology. I'll be retiring out of UPS as soon as financially feasible, perhaps in two years when I lock in my retirment health care and obtain some pension milestones. I am also in the process of buying a condo in Chicago so my two daughters can go to graduate school or get into real estate with my kid brother, who has doubled my annual income the last few years! The condo is an investment right now, but if I can't find me a new love down here in central Illinois, I may head up north and see what the big city women have to offer. o whatever I like. I'm feeling good and in good health and good spirits--I'm really having the time of my life. I Can't wait to get out of UPS and start a professional career. I've been traveling a bit--went out to the West coast--the Pacific Northwest to be exact and went up to Vancouver, BC for a convention for my doctoral program. I would be in Myrtle Beach this year for the conference except for saving for the condo is more important right now because I need a foothold up in Chicago to finish up the doctorate. That about takes care of my main activites the past few years--I'm just getting used to the kids being gone and trying to nail down this new career and finish up my old one. It's going to be a quite a transition for this Decatur native, but I'm kind of looking forward to the change of scenery.
