Pete's Story
Life
Went to WSU in 1987 and went completely nuts for a couple years with my buddies from Hanford. In March of 1990 met my future wife Angie, three months later dropped out, played music in Seattle with Martin Rose and John Keating for 9 months, had a total blast and was right in the middle of the Seattle explosion. Went back to WSU and finished my Electrical Engineering degree.
In 1992 I moved to Seattle and into a house with Martin to find first job and play music. Got my first job as a software developer writing process modeling software for Boeing. ed with some semi famous and a couple famous people and had a lot of fun.
In 1995 I co-founded a software consulting company with 2 other guys I met through music. Did well, built it up to a $45 MM company in 2000.
2001 took a year off and remodeled my house and we started to have children. We now have two boys, Roan and Grant and they are a ton of fun. Then took a job at WaMu in 2002 to learn how big companies work, and despite the fact that I only wanted to stay two years I just had my fifth anniversary.
I currently manage eCommerce Technology for the bank which is cool because I get lots of interesting leadership and entrepreneurial opportunities.
