Pete's Story
It's been a journey since the days of WCHS and graduation in 1972. I migrated to the south for college at what was then High Point College (now High Point University) and then on to Wake Forest University for an MBA in finance. From there I went to work with a small little company in Winston-Salem called RJ Reynolds Industries, a 1970's era conglomerate that included a number of industry leading business segments including tobacco. l extensively throughout the entire region including VietNam before the embargo was lifted. From there I returned to North Carolina where I have been living since 1995 and have now just retired after serving as the Chief Executive of a NYSE listed company for the past 15 years. What's next is up for grabs and will be the next adventure, of that I'm sure and I am looking forward to it. In the meantime I'll keep SCUBA diving where the cell phones never ring or keep trying to improve my handicap before my kneecaps give way. I hope all are well and that we only remember the good times.
