Life

In the past 30+ years I'veÂ
* Gotten married to my best friend Leslie, and she still is!
* Eaten food from all over (Favorites: Indian, Chinese, Korean BBQ, Moroccan, Burgers; best pizza: JT McHart's in Cupertino; best ice cream: a little store in a little town above the Waipio valley on the Big Island of Hawaii---better than real Italian Gelato; best chocolate: from FinlandÂ
; Worst food: rubbery Korean octopus and noodles that you can't chew through)
* Learned to be a dad (two daughters, one's a graphic designer in Boulder CO married to a car mechanic/ philosophy college student, the other is married, living in ID, looking for a different place to live :) )
* Gained some weight and lost it again, along with most of my hair and my memory
* Traveled a lot (best scuba diving: Moalboal/Panagsama Beach, Cebu, Philippines; favorite city: Seoul; favorite country: India; favorite airline: Singapore; favorite people: everywhere)...Expand for more
* Experienced a lot of joy and hassles (they don't fit here; visit blogs.icta.net/slty sometime)
* Lived mostly in California but escaped to Black Forest, Colorado in '93
* Escaped nerdism (I can talk to Real People now without getting nervous!)
* Earned lots of time, and not much money, so I could help folks in lots of places worldwide
* Found real peace by becoming completely dependent on God with every fiber of my being (Is. 26:3)
* Had a few good ideas, helped make some products you probably use, helped heal some relationships, helped encourage people to pray, because that really will change the worldÂ
* Helped change the world in minor ways (ever hear of the "10/40 Window"?)...now working on a bigger change. A whole new worldview. What if High Tech could be appreciated as a Very Good Thing?!

* Writing a book
* Another go-round on changing the world
* Seeing how much I can serve behind the scenes without anyone finding out
