Hi ya'all I hope everyone is doing well. Maria and I are looking forward to our 50th reunion. Where would we all be with out Penny getting us all together every five years? Thanks Penny. I guess growing up has proven to be a lot more difficult than I would have imagined. Here I am, still playing cowboy after all this time. My horse Wanda Jean, who I had for about 10 years, passed away in Dec 2011. But, a week later, I got me a good cowboy horse by the name of Rascal; and he certainly is. He and I were out riding trails when we came up on a rattlesnake on Labor Day. It startled him and I got bucked off and broke a couple of ribs. I just don’t bounce like I did when I was 60. But, all’s well that ends well. I belong to the Ventura County Cattleman’s Association and I give lectures for the Simi Valley Historical Society on the history of early cowboys and ranching in the Conejo Valley.
