Today is June 1st.. Should I live 19 more days, I'll have reached my 82nd birthday. (Never in my lifetime did I ever think I would live this long, much less being married this long....54 years this August).. Aside from my body being wracked with arthritis, and being half deaf, my mind still works OK. Once that goes, I'd rather be dead.....who wants to revert to having to be cared for by someone else, like becoming "a baby" a second time..... Having to be fed, and peeing and pooping without knowing what your own body is doing? NO THANKS!
