Peter's Story
Life
I would like to say that this is a refreshing way to find the people I graduated with in high school. I am married and have been so, happily I may add, since Dec. 1985. I have two children, Max who is 16 and Zachary who is 12. I have three cats: Sheba, Menorah and Kharma. I also have a Lhasa Apso named Rashi. I live in Wichita, Kansas and work at Cessna Aircraft. I am a member in good standing in the Wichita Jewish Community. Right now I am the House Chairman for Congregation Emanu-El, I am a Board member of the Congregations Brotherhood and I also serve on the Congregations Board of Directors. My wife Carol, who is a native Kansan, is the Dietary Manager for a nursing home in Wichita.

ssouri. Topeka is the Capital and Wichita is the largest city. And for you Lions fans, former Lion great, Barry Sanders grew up in Wichita. For the Gunsmoke fans, Dodge City is in Western Kansas. Also, Kansas is not all flat. Sure, in Western Kansas it is mostly flat as the eye can see but there are rolling hills in Eastern Kansas. In the spring I like to pass the time by looking for thunderstorms and tornadoes. I have seen a few over the years and a couple have even come within a mile of my house.
They say that you can never go home again but one day I will try to move back to Michigan to live or at least buy the house that I grew up in on the corner of Avon and Harding in Oak Park. I keep clicking my "ruby red sneakers" and saying "There is no place like home" but alas I am still in Kansas. I would like to hear from all you former OPHS alumnus so when you see the Wizard think of me. Toto! Toto! Auntie Em! Auntie Em!
