Alice's Story
Since high school I lived in Spain, North Carolina, Montana. Then I married a Canadian and moved to Alberta, The Northwest Territories (the Canadian Arctic) and then to British Columbia. I now live on vancouver Island off the west coast of British Columbia which is north of Seattle, Washington. MY husband is a school teacher who has specialized in Native education so we have spend several years in isolated communities.
I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right, but I left nursing and became a banker instead..

The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is My buddy Ed, because we had a special friendship for years..
My current age is 60. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be half dead. I was so completely wrong.
I share my home with husband and a blind dog, which I find at the University of Montana and the dog I got from a friend. Our three kids are all grown and living a short distance from us.
In 10 years, I hope to be sitting in my kayak on the Sea of Cortez with a mojito in hand. I'm going to get there by convincing Peter it's time to fully retire..
