Peter's Story
Life
Okay here's what I did after High School:
Had a string of crappy odd jobs.
Went to College for Business.
Went to York for Psychology.
Bought a van for $600, and headed west for Vancouver. Broke down in Winnipeg but only stayed three days. I made it out to BC and lived in Vancouver for 8 months.
Moved back to Ontario and got my Stock Broker's licenses and worked for the big banks a while.
Went back to school for Computer Programming.
Got job with Mobile Computing Startup in Toronto with $20 million in Venture Capital. I had stock options but we blew through the money and went bankrupt.
Got a contract with IBM Microelectronics in Burlington, Vermont.
Did more schooling to finish my Project Management Certification with the PMI.

ter the contract I got married and traveled around the world on our honeymoon.
I returned and got involved with another software startup in Vermont where I am currently a partner.
Lived in Vermont for 5 1/2 years. While in Vermont I became a pretty good snowboarder. I also bulked up to 285lbs lifting weights, and went on to lose 100lbs to be below my high school weight for running.
I ran the Toronto Marathon in 2004; then on to run Vermont twice, and Boston in 2006.
I just traded in my dusty old Charvel metal-head high school guitar for a Godin LG and plan to take up the guitar again after many years. I put together a pretty cool home studio too.
I'm currently living on Oakville and running my own software company with my wife and my two little girls.
