Peter Lorenzi:  

Born in South Buffalo, raised in Lackawanna, my family moved to Eden in 1958. First attending Immaculate Conception School, I graduated from Eden Central in 1969. That fall I started college at SUNY Binghamton -- Harpur College. After six years, a BS and a MBA, I enrolled at Penn State in 1975. I earned a PhD in business management in 1978. In the past fifty years, I taught at Binghamton U (ne Harpur College), Penn State, the University of Kansas, the University of Wyoming, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Marquette, Central Arkansas, and finally Loyola University in Maryland, where we moved in 1995. Since 1984, I've circled the globe -- including three round-the-world trips -- and worked in England, Malaysia, Russia, India, and Chile. In 2001 I retired as dean of the Loyola business school, returning to full-time teaching for the first time since 1986. In 2006 I had one hip replaced, the result of a lengthy running career. Donated a kidney in 2011 and replaced second hip in 2012. ...Expand for more
