Peter's Story
Peter currently lives in Tokyo, Japan, where he has worked as a bilingual motor journalist and columnist since 1988. He attended Churchlands Senior High School and the University of Western Australia where he majored in Politics and Japanese Studies. In mid-2016, he started writing for Forbes. He also currently co-hosts an English language TV series called Samurai Wheels on Japan's national broadcaster NHK World, a show that can be viewed in over 150 countries. class in the Nurburgring 24-hour race in 2010 piloting a Lexus IS-F, and was runner-up in the 2011 Mazda MX-5 Media 4-hour race at Tsukuba Circuit.
Music Peter enjoys includes The Eagles, Earth, Wind and Fire, the Doobie Bros and Sheryl Crow and Beethoven's 9th. Books Peter likes include Breath (by Perth-born author Tim Winton!!), The Da Vinci Code and Cork Boat. His three favourite flicks are Shawshank Redemption, The Red Violin and Immortal Beloved.
