Peter's Story
I have 3 kids and live on a small farm out in the country. We have horses, dogs, cats, and a small fish pond. My kids raised rabbits for 4H for years, but thankfully they finally outgrew that. Our horses are American Standardbreds, retired racehorses that probably would have been dog food or glue by now, as they didn't win many purses, but they are great with kids.

I'm a systems engineer for Cray, and assistant volleyball coach at my daughter's high school, where she plays JV ball. My son plays travel soccer, which I'm no good at, but I practice in the back yard with him anyway (sort of the soccer version of a tackling dummy!). My kids have played other sports, but settled on one each that they like.
