Life I married at the end of 1968 and we moved to Lodi where we lived till 1973. Our first daughter was born in 1972 and a year later we moved to northern Virginia where we still reside. My career started with programming IBM computers and then transitioned to supporting operating systems followed by specialization in Data and Voice Communications and large networks. There was a bunch of other stuff that I had fun doing as well like Disaster Recovery, designing networks, troubleshooting, and the list goes on. I found myself exclusively playing Bluegrass music (this area was the center of it) and continue to this day. I am a long-time member of IBMA.org and stay somewhat active on the business end of the music. But, after all these years of playing acoustic instruments and Bluegrass Music, I by chance happened to meander over to ELECTRICS!! You know, the Tele's, Strat's, LP's and Basses too. I had been so sheltered playing Bluegrass Music that names like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and such were unknown to me. Like Da! However, being a Bass player made it pretty easy for me to play the tunes and stand in the back. WRONG! I got drafted to the front-line with all the responsibilities that come with it. So here I am a Grandfather of five learning how to bend the strings, turn on a Fuzz Box (hurts my ears), rekindle my "When Will I Be Loved" for Linda Ronstadt. TRANSLATION: Life has been good to me.
