Moved to Deer Isle, Maine in the middle of Penobscot Bay. 4 years.
Raw beauty. Wild humans. Wonderful art.
Moved to Boothbay Harbor.
Civilized. Less art. Pure beauty.

Risk taker
Much traveled. 24,000 miles in the back of pick up across western USA while touring with a theater company. Hitchhike acorss the country.
National Ski Patrol through high school and college.
Canadian and American Rockies - backpacking, winter camping, ice climbing. Ecuador, Peru - hitchhiking. Nicaragua, just after the war, research project. 4 times Hawaii, 3 for research project. 1 for pleasure. Southern Mexico, beach, travel, archaeological sites. Honduras - research. Honduras - post hurrican reconstruction project. Turkey - educational and cultural tour.
While at Yale discovered I am dyslexic, which explains lots.

As of June 1, 2003 - "Daily Devotions" a non-sectarian television ministry taped in Portland, Maine for two NBC affliates (WCSH6 Portland & WLBZ2 Bangor), broadcast daily writing and telling inspirational stories of hope at 6:15 AM to 98,000 viewers. Basically, I'm a full time writer telling stories for a living. Dream job!
