Peter's Story

Life My wife, Amie, and I live in SW Marana, Arizona; really out in the boonies! We have 10 acres now and plan to develop it; put in a natural pond, new homes, etc. Growing up in Niles makes me miss that small community life. We're starting to get that feeling here. Amie has a son from a previous marraige named C.J. (Conrad) He's now a dad which makes me a grampa. We have three dogs and one mother-in-law living with us. It's been a while since I've updated this thing. I am currently writing a novel entitled 'Camelot's Return'. I have sent excerpts to publishers recently (like yesterday) and I expect to hear back in a month or so if they're interested. School Hi Guys, Isn't it funny how far we can get to where we were at Graduation. After HS, I attended KVCC in Kalamazoo for a year. Later, I finished my Associates Degree in Electronics via the US Air Force. I have since gone back for this class and that but have mostly worked. I would enjoy going back to study business and perhaps history. I'm still learning everyday...and keeping my mind open to all of the new and exciting things this world has to offer. I hope you are too! pete College College was at best, an eye-opening experience. I learned more about life than I was prepared to learn. Then, I thought that people were just jerks, but as I grew more social, I have discvered that I was the jerk; Ignorant of other people's needs. Although I was only at KVCC for one year, I cherish those days; Disco Inferno! :) Workplace WORKIN' FOR A LIVIN'! Although in HS I thou...Expand for more
ght I would become the GREATEST ARCHITECT TO LIVE, I didn't! :) I got interested in Electronics and finished my education in the service. From there I went into Cellular. It was brand new technology when I got involved. I worked in Cellular for nearly 10 years (eight+ in Texas and one in Chicago). I moved onto other electronics (wireless and land-line telephony) mostly in the South Bend area. Then I move back out West to Arizona where I got a job working in the Satellite Industry for Motorola. After six years of watching Motorola FAIL, I ventured to a small company, Inter-Coastal where I developed training devices for Military Applications. Basically, it's a VERY EXPENSIVE video game. I was laid off in 2006 and we now reside in Tucson where I'm a Raytheon Employee where they BLOW THINGS UP! Military This part of my life has to be the most important for I awoke. The military discipline was exactly what I needed at that time in my life. The Air Force showed me what I could do if I REALLY tried. And in the service, you try or die. Fortunately, I was not envolved in any conflicts, but some of the exercises were quite realistic overseas. In England, I assembled a Rock Band called The Toys. Don't look for any records; we never got that far, but they did perform at a couple of parties. No, I still cannot play any instruments, I simply brought the group together and helped maintain their focus. They were interested in my poetry and Steve (the Lead Singer) and I stuggled to put music to them. 'Why Can't More Be Like Me?' was our only success.
