Life Well after Berkeley High I moved to Santa Cruz in 1981 and spent a couple of years bumming around taking classes at Cabrillo College before deciding I was wasting time and money (not knowing where I was going) so I joined the Army reserves and spent most of 1983 training first in Basic, then as an Operating Room technician. That was it, I found what I wanted and once training was up I went at school with a purpose and got my RN license so I could work as an Operating Room RN. I met my wife in the reserves, we both stayed in until after Gulf War I (no I wasn't mobilized, but I was on 3-day alert for a year). We live in San Jose now, just managed to buy a home last year thanks to the dot-bust stabilizing prices and lowering interest rates. Our daughter Kyra is 7 years old now! I am actually going back to school again, Cal State Dominguez Hills - for a Bachelors in Nursing. About two years ago I put myself through advanced training to be able to work as a First Assistant in surgery - blood and guts, but I love it.
