Peter's Story
I recently met someone at work who went to school with but could not place me.I told him that in 77 I was a hall monitor, was a huge marsupial and frequented Feckete s office daily lol. At the end of 77 I joined the Canadian Armed Forces and during my basic training I lost over 105 pounds. It was great for me and peeps did not recognize me( if you look in the 78 yearbook there is a full page of me getting my yearbook pic thanks to Dave Tonner. Other than the smoke pit I hung out with Steve Walpole at Mr Submarine. The owner Mike and his brother worked there .Mike during the day his brother at night so I never met him. ident people should consider leaving due to no hospital beds for visitor s if you got Covid . So me and my wife decided it was best to cut our stay 2 weeks short and head home. So went to get the Covid test at a resort. Explained that we required the proper test to go back to Canada when from behind a curtain a guy came out and said I’m a Canadian Doctor from Toronto and was hired to give proper tests to Canadians but being cheeky I said no your fault being from TO.
His come back was that he was from London originally. That started to chit chat and low and behold his family owned Mr. Sub and Mike who I knew really well as my older sister dated Mike for a short period. Small world. I also met Walt Dona here in B C.
