Peter's Story
Life
I moved to Coeurd'Alene,Idaho after graduation. I received an AAS degree in Law Enforcement from North Idaho College. I worked 4 years with the Coeur d'Alene PD as a patrol officer, until accepting a job in Kellogg (about 35 miles east). I was single until 1995 when I married a girl with 5 kids. We own!!! our own home and are waiting to retire in about 3 years (when the last of the litter graduates). Have two granddaughters; and three grandsons.Bought the motorhome and still paying it off. We will travel some, depending on the price of gas, when we retire..visiting friends, relatives, etc. My wife, Cathy and I work security at the local US Govt. Superfund site. heriff's Dept where I work now...Kellogg has a ski resort as well as mountain biking, backpacking, camping, hunting and fishing nearby...A fabulous place to live and retire...Hoping to hear from former classmates...UPDATE....After receiving recognition for 20 years of police service to the City of Kellogg, I resigned and took a deputy sheriff's position with the Sheriff's Dept. Now, I can retire from this career but must continue working until SS kicks in..Looking for a new job..career. I can still say I have a great job and health insurance... Well, the sheriff laid me off in 2010, a couple of months after medical leave ended...returned 6 months later as a reserve deputy...started my state retirement and recieved unemployment benefits.
