Phil's Story
Where have the nearly 55 years gone! After Hauppauge High I attended Adelphi University and received a BA degree in Biology. I then attended Fairleigh Dickerson University School of Dentistry and earned a DMD degree (Doctor of Dental Medicine)in 1978. While attending Adelphi I met my future wife, Marilyn, and we were married in my Junior year of dental school. After graduation I moved and bought a general dental practice on the North Fork of Long Island in a town called Mattituck. I have recently retired after 41st year of practice. Marilyn and I have two beautiful and talented daughters Dara and Leah, 41 years old and 36 years old respectively. Leah graduated from Hofstra University with a masters in Elementary Education/English and currently is a reading teacher in Moriches, NY. She is now married and we now have two grandchildren. We still live on Long Island in a new mostly 55 and over community Along with traveling and making believe I can play golf I have enjoyed serving my community in a variety of service organizations. Well in a nut shell that has been my life. I am looking ahead and hope to catch up with all my Hauppauge HS friends if we have a 55th reunion this year.. Where has the time gone!! Finally, I hope you your families are all well and I extend my best wishes and to all of my fellow HHS alumni.
