Phil's Story
Life
I started working a couple of months after graduating Elgin. My third job which was from 1983 to 1991, was at STM Systems Corp in Mississauga in the accounting dept. From there, I wound up at Price Waterhouse from 1992 to 1999 as the office accountant. However, they say that everyone has at least 2 careers in a lifetime. So, I went back to college in '97, Mohawk this time, and finished a Journalism diploma in 2000. I started working at CH Television in Hamilton while still in school as a Production Assistant. I am now a producer with CH Morning Live while occasionally assisting in sport...Expand for more

College
I went to two colleges. When I got out of Elgin I had to work, but also decided to take business courses at Sheridan College in Oakville. By 1983, I was working days in the accounting department of STM Systems Corp in Mississauga while finishing a business diploma at Sheridan. During this time, I also finished 3 yrs of the CGA program and completed the Canadian Securities Course. I later went on to Mohawk College in the Journalism field and graduated there in 2000. I'm currently working for CH Television in Hamilton (905)522-1101 ext 2224.
