Phil's Story
Bis vivit qui bene vivit . . .
After high school and college, I was accepted into U.S. Navy flight training at Pensacola, Florida. I successfully compete the aircraft carrier jet Aviator program and received my wings and commission and went on to fly F-4 B/J carrier based fighter-bombers during all that fun known as the Vietnam years. After 8-years of the Navy and North Vietnamese trying to kill me, I resigned my commission and got out alive.
I then went to work in securities especially junk and derivatives and non-SEC registered securities. I went from that fearsome adventure to real estate development. I built apartments, condos, homes, mini-warehouse and office buildings in the Encino area, Westlake and Ojai. I then made the ultimate error and started believing my own press clippings. Like Icarus, I ignored excellent advise an augured in. Mine was a most spectacular fall from grace where in I lost eve...Expand for more
rything.
But the fall from grace was the best thing to have happened to me. For sure woke me up! Of course, being unsinkable, I recovered. Today my dear wife of 15-years â [me married 15-years â its great to be married to a human being!] live happily on 10 wooded acres in NW Washington with our cats. We own an international recruiting agency and have placed over 750 nurses, medical technologists and physical therapists to U.S. hospitals from the Philippines. We also own a commercial Koi grow out farm. We raise Koi fry to 8 to 9 inch pond size fish for sale here in Western Washington. We grow the fishies in 12 â 1300 gallon tanks in green houses. Our tank farm supports about 2400 fancy fin Koi. Soon we will branch out with sales to the Western states with overnight FEDEX delivery.
The song that details my life is âÂÂThis â¦âÂÂâ by Hootie.
I hope that all of you are well.
