After graduating from UVA, I entered Maryknoll (The Catholic Foreign Mission Society of America) in 1979, was ordained a Roman Catholic missionary priest and assigned to work in Korea. For 17 of the past 24 years I have worked in Korea as a pastor, lecture...Expand for more
r, spiritual director, retreat director and translator. Since 2002, I have made 4 trips into North Korea on humanitarian aid delegations serving TB patients from P'yeong-Yang to Shin-Ui-Ju, and continue to make 1-2 trips per year. My life-work is quite fulfilling.
