Phillip's Story

Let's see. In august of 99, I joined the US Navy. I did a tour on the USS Abraham Lincoln, and then I transferred to the USS Shoup (DDG-86) at the end of 2001. Commissioned the Shoup in Seattle, WA in June of 02. While in the Navy I was lucky enough to see a few places. Mostly the west coast and SW Canada. However, for a brief moment in time I got to roam around Dubai, UAE and see some of Australia. I would love to return to Australia some day... Without the shadow of the US military looming over me. I want to see Sydney... Got out of the Navy in July 03. Came back to Kansas to work on my bachelors degree. Graduated from Pitt State in Spring 07 with my Bachelors of Science in Techno...Expand for more
logy. I majored in Automotive Technology with an emphasis in Diesel/Heavy Equipment. Got recruited to work for Granite Construction as an equipment mgmt trainee. They sent me to their branch office in Reno, NV. After a year there, the economy dove off the deep end, the training program got canceled, and I was laid off. So, once again I returned to SE KS. This time to pursue my Masters degree in Technical Education. You know what they say, no place like home. I am now working as a graduate assistant for the Technology & Workforce Development department head. I am divorced after being married 5 yrs. I don't have any kids, and am currently looking for Ms. Right... Anyone know her?? LOL
