Phillip's Story
Life
Well, It has been a while since I have updated my profile, but here goes, I turned 40 years old in November, 2007. I recently completed my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration!
Back in my younger days, I played wheelchair sports. I ran track, and played wheelchair soccer. I last played back in 2003 and enjoyed it, but felt that my talents were overlooked by the newest team members.
My love life has been at a standstill ever since my divorce over 4 years ago. I hope that changes eventually.
After I graduated from Northbrook in 1986, I attended Houston Community College for a semester, then Z qualified in track and field to go to Korea for the Olympics in 1988. I won 2 silver medals. One in Shot Put and one in the 4 x 100 meter relay.
After my trip to Korea I came back and went to business school, where I received a certificate...Expand for more
in Computerized Accounting. As part of my training, I got a job that lasted a year. In 1992 I qualified again for the Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, but this time I didn;t get to go due to finances.
That same year, with the help of a state agency, I returned to school for 2 years and recieved a certificate in Desktop Publishing from Houston Community College in 1994.
In 1995 I was referred to someone for a job at an apartment leasing agency, but after 3 months it didn't work out. My next job was a seasonal one working for a CPA from home, but that only lasted a short while.
Finally, in 1997 I got a job with a collections service in the accounting department. I really enjoyed it. Almnost 5 years later, our company got bought out by our biggest competitor.
That brings me to today, and if you want to know more, just keep in touch. :)
