Phillip's Story
Life
My life in very few words:
Moved to Carrollton in 95 (still consider myself MCHS grad)
Grad in 97 from Central of Carrollton
Went to Baptist College of Florida where I gained mucho weight--and still have not gotten it off... guess I was trying to conform myself to the image of a Baptist Pastor.
Graduated with BA in theology in 2001.
Decided preaching wasn't my thing (big surprise, right?)
Moved back to Carrollton in 2002.
Got married to Alicia Diane Willis in December of 2002.

English from West Georgia.
Went to France summer of 2004 to finish language req. for Masters.
Wrote a collection of short stories for my thesis, for which I won the Ben Griffith Fiction Award from the university.
Grad 2004 with MA (passed orals with distinction, by the way.)
Taught as an instructor in English at West Georgia for a year.
This year (2005-2006) I will be moving to Carrollton High (job is more secure, and, believe it or not, offers better pay.
Hope to be back up in the mountains soon.
