Life
My Spouse
I met my spouse through my cousin's husband..they were best friends. I met him the morning after he got married. We were introduced and he said, " I got married too soon, I think." About 6 months later, he and his wife separated and he called me and we started dating. After 37 1/2 yr. of marriage, my life partner, my love, my best friend, my husband, Charlie, passed away 1-28-05 from a heart attack. I miss him so very much. I will always love him.
My Pets
I have two female Siamese cats. Shannon is 15 years old and Secret is 9 years old. They are loving and gentle cats but they do not like to be around small children at all. They usually hide if a child in visiting. Shannon is older so she is not very active...likes to sleep at the top of my head at night and in my lap. Secret is a little mischievious demon.. My Kids
I have two daughters. Leigh Ann is 37 years old and a beautiful woman. She has 3 children: Courtney Gooch who is 15 years old; Devon Warmack who is 10 years old and Dylan Warmack who is 9 years old. My youngest,Carrie Wilson, is 31 and beautiful, also. She is an LPN. She is married to Brian Wilson from McKenzie and they have 2 precious children. Summer Brooke will be 8 yrs. old in July 2005 and Kaleb Brennon turned 4 yrs. on December 19,2004. He is a little doll as all of my grands are...and spoiled rotten, too.
The man in the photo with me is not my husband. He is Don Von Tress, the Award Winning Songwriter of the famous song " Achy-Breaky Heart " recorded by country super-star Billy Ray Cyrus. Don was also a member of Billy's " Slydog " band and a great buddy. This picture was taken around 1999 before a concert in Paducah, KY.
