Phyllis's Story
Okay, I live in Canada, on a small island, called Hornby Island. It has a population of 900. Great gardens, great food, sea lions, orca whales, large trees and quiet...
I have been teaching Reiki (a Japanese healing art) for about 25 years, I teach improvisational theater, do counseling, perform marriages (on occasion), practice a technique called Hanna Somatic Education, (which is a technique for releasing contracted muscles)on people and horses, and generally hang out. I have been to India five times, occasionally take groups there and have lived in Mexico for a while.

others and that changes year to year.
I have great friends, love my Mom, who is 94 (and lives in Florida) and am not married. I don't have pets, since I'm not home enough. I love to travel and have just returned from Denmark, where I visited the small island of Lyo (smaller than Hornby) where I studied Horsemanship with Klaus Ferdinand Hempfling. I also am drawn to sacred places and very interested in Eastern religions. I have been initiated into Kriya Yoga, which is in the tradition of Parmhansa Yogananda.
Next year I will go back to India to study Ayurvedic medicine. Life is good.
