Phyllis's Story
In June of 1969, immediately after graduation I started Ft. Sanders School of Radiology. I married my present and only husband in Jan. 1970. Our first child Travis as born in Dec. 1970. I graduated x-ray school in spring of 1972 and our second child, Tishia as born in Oct. 1972. In 1988 our send daughter and third child, Sasha, was born.
Don and I moved from Knoxville to Harriman the fall of 1972. We were members of Trenton Street Baptist Church. In 1974, we bought our 1st home in Kingston TN. Don sold insurance with Modern Woodman of America from 1972 until 1975 when we started Trust Reality Co. in Kinsgton.
In 1977 we started a church that we pastored until 1980. We served as Associate Pastor to Redemption Christian Center, Knoxvile, before starting Fountain of Life AG ...Expand for more
Church in Powell. We were pastor of Fountain of Life from 1982 until 1995 when we became missionaries with the Assemblies of God in Romania.
We lived in Romaina from May,1996 until Jan. 2006. When we retired from missions. We are both currently employed with Knox County School but sense change is near.
We have 3 wonderful grandchild and hope for more one day.
We have been very blessed and favored by the Lord all our days. We have suffered our share of heartache and pain. We lost our only son in 1991. Travis was only 20 years old when he died.
Through all the years, the Lord has been Faithful. Don and I will celebrate 40 years of marriage in Jan.2010. We are happier today that we have ever been in our live and looking forward to many more years together by the grace of God.
