Phyllis's Story
I am a Dreamer, Mom,Grandma,Sister,Friend,I am the one person who NEVER gives up.I am Jeanna to my friends, Bebe to my AMAZING husband,I am a child of God who is amazed everyday at what the Lord has in store for me.I am a rich woman in all the things that matter. I am a professional Business owner who still works 60+ hours a week to make it succeed. I hope I will be remembered not for who I was in High School but who I am today. I have 4 beautiful grandbabies,3 amazing sons,and life,what more could I ask for? Since this last update to my profile I have lost my oldest son Robert Lee Nation Jr. He was killed in a car accident on 3/10/2013 at 6:45 am. For 2 years I did not celebrate holidays,I was more devastated than I ever knew I could be. He was my laughing, loving, 4X4ing,fishing,and hunting buddy. realize now he is safe and resting in the arms of the angels.ANd as for me, I get up everyday,I am retired, living every second to the fullest, not just for me, but for my boys. God has given me more strength than I ever dreamed I had, and everyday I praise him. That might seem like an odd thing for a mother who adores her sons to do,but I don't dwell on his death,I dwell on his life.He lived more life in 36 years than most people do in 80. He was my strongest supporter,and when I took the insurance license exams in the 10 states he said"mom you are the smartest woman I have ever known,and you will ace it",and I didn't think I would,but I did. So now I focus on his 5 kids and try to in some way take the place of someone who is irreplaceable,their Daddy. I am preparing to start the Citizens Academy, I know it will be hard, but my boys love and support will be with me,and with the Lord by my side, I can do anything!
