Phyllis's Story
Life
Married in the late 70s but divorced. Fortunate to have two daughters, two granddaughters, a grandson, and great friends. I reside in DC.
My sister graduated Wilson a year before I did.
What happened after school?
I started using my African name "Okolo" and headed off to the Bay Area but returned to purs...Expand for more
ue career in African Dance. Performed professionally during in late 70s and 80s. Switched careers in early 90s to event management where I helped produce major DC events. Switched careers a third time and now I am re-enrolled as student of Urban Studies and NonProfit Leadership--too much fun.
