Phyllis's Story

When we moved from Florence I went to Ponca School for a few yrs then to a small one room school District something or rather cant remember the number now. then High School first at Millard then at Elkhorn. Married in 1955 2 months before I turned 17. Became one of Jehovahs Witnesses in 1978 sure wish I had sooner. Very much enjoy life serving Jehovah God. It has brought me much happiness and joy.Was married to my husband for 54 yrs.We had 8 grown children, 23 Grandchildren and several great grandchildren (I loose count would have to make a list to remember).I am a retired or should say semi-retired antique dealer(I still have online shops so not fully retired) I sold on ebay for 7 yrs but thats going downhill so went to selling on line from online shops instead. bible Study and at meetings and socializing with my Christian Brothers and Sisters Working on the computer I do love computers Watching old Movies with my friends and family ( I dont care much for the new movies---- my husband used to jokingly say if it was made after 1960 I woudlnt watch it and he wasnt far from wrong) I love music (old Music that is)and dancing (though at 72 cant do much of that anymore) I love people and talking to people I am rarely serious and very much enjoy life My kids and grandkids are great to "Grama Phyl"--- so are the children in the congregation I have a serious problem with talking to much and joking to much. My biggest regret is that I didnt start serving Jehovah God sooner as that is what I find to be the thing that brings the greatest happiness and doing things His way saves alot of heart ache and is always best.
