Hi!
What a long strange trip . . . After I left the New School I worked for the corperate machine, first at Alcan doing microfilming, then into the belly of the beast, I became a stock broker! Yes, from a card carrying Yippie, I became a total sell out.
After three years of being a "spy," I returned to my roots, working at the local YMCA doing after school programs and teaching aerobics and martial arts. Then I did a stint at Shawbridge working with juvenile delinquents like myslef, rewarding but exhausting. om autistic children to adult second langauge learners, I found myself teaching computers to high school kids.
I met my wife in 1987 and we've been married for seventeen years (another acceptance of rational-legal authority) and had two great kids (both boys). We travel to England a lot (my wife is British), and occasionally to Europe. While all that was going on, I got a B.A., an B. Ed., an M.A., and now I'm working on a PhD. in Education. Although I miss my rebelious youth, living the Bohemian life, and the great times we had putting down the "establishment," it's not so bad to be on the other side. What about you?
